Chili garlic butter shrimp recipe
The easiest weekend Chili Garlic Butter Shrimp weeknight meal! A buttery garlic sauce with a smack of chili will be on your thoughts for many days.
Ingredients
- Butter - 4 Tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Large shrimp (prawns) - 1-1/4 pounds (600 grams) shelled and deveined, tails on or off
- Salt & fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- 1-2 whole red cayenne chili peppers
- Garlic cloves - 4-5 minced
- Chopped parsley - 1/4 Cup
Preparation:
Step 1:
Heat olive oil in skillet or large pan over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season with pepper & salt for taste & sear for 1-2 mins on each side (until just starts to turn pinkish).
Step 2:
Then Take a Pan, add the garlic, red chilis, butter and parsley. Toss shrimp through butter sauce & cook for a further 30 secs - 1 min until shrimp is cooked through (being carefully, not to over-cook your shrimps).
Step 3:
Quickly take off heat and serve.
NOTE
Serve Chili Garlic Butter Shrimp over noodles, rice or pasta, with garlic bread or fresh bread, or vegetables (asparagus, sautéed green beans, roasted cauliflower)
