Korean Beef Recipe
Tastes like Korean BBQ and is on your dinner table in just 15 min from start to finish! Seriously. It does n’t get any easier than this!
Ingredients
- Packed brown sugar- ¼ Cup
- Reduced sodium soy sauce - ¼ Cup
- Sesame oil - 2 teaspoons
- Crushed red-pepper flakes - ½ teaspoon (or more to taste)
- Ground ginger - ¼ teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic Cloves, minced - 3
- Ground beef - 1 pound
- Onions, 2 green (Thinly sliced)
- Sesame seeds - ¼ teaspoon
Preparation:
Step 1:
Take a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, ginger & sesame oil.
Step 2:
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 min. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 3- 5 mins, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks, drain redundant fat.
Step 3:
Stir in green onions & soy sauce mixture until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 mins.
Step 4:
Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds & green onion, if required.
