Simple & Easy Creamy Tahini Recipe
Home-made tahini is smooth, fresh & tastes better than any-thing you can buy from store. It is frequently used as dressing or sauce. You can also use it in Tahini Sauce, Hummus, Lemon, Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies, Tahini Dressing, & so many other recipes.
Ingredients
- Hulled sesame seeds - 4 Cups
- Olive oil - 3 Tablespoon
Preparation:
Step 1:
Gently toast sesame seeds (stirring constantly), on medium-low for 5 mins, or till slightly golden. Then let them cool to room-temperature.
Step 2:
Once, sesame seeds have cooled, add them to your Vitamix. Blend on high for one min, using tamper to push seeds in the blades, creating a tahini paste.
Step 3:
Add olive oil & blend for another min to create creamy consistency.
