Homemade Granola Recipe
There is a lot to love about this homemade granola recipe. it is healthy, easy to make, delicious & it will make kitchen smell amazing!
Ingredients
- Whole rolled oats - 2 Cups
- Chopped walnuts, (or almonds, or a mix of both) - 1/2 Cup
- Cinnamon - 2 Teaspoons
- Coconut flakes - Optional
- Melted coconut oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Sea salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Maple syrup - 1/4 Cup
- Creamy almond butter - 2 Tablespoons
- Dried cranberries - 1/3 cup (optional)

Preparation:
Step 1:
Pre-heat oven to 300°F, then line a baking-sheet with parchment-paper.
Step 2:
In medium-bowl, mix walnuts, oats, coconut flakes, if using, cinnamon & salt. Drizzle in coconut oil & maple syrup & then add the almond butter. Stir till combined. Scoop granola on-to baking sheet & press mixture in-to 1inch-thick oval. This will encourage clumping.
Step 3:
Bake for 15mins, rotate pan half-way & use fork to gently break granola a-part just a bit. Bake for 15mins more, or till golden-brown. Sprinkle with dried cranberries, if required. Let it cool for 15mins before serving.
